How do I see how long my elytra will last?
Hover your cursor over an elytra in your inventory or when viewing it in a container. The tooltip will display the remaining flight duration in addition to the standard durability bar.
What does the flight time number mean?
The flight duration shown represents approximately how many seconds you can continuously fly with that elytra before it breaks, assuming normal gliding conditions without firework rocket boosts.
Does mending affect the flight time display?
No, the mod only displays the remaining flight time based on current durability. Mending will repair your elytra and extend its lifespan, but the display itself doesn't change how mending works.
Can I compare two elytra to see which is better?
Yes, hold each elytra and check their tooltips side-by-side to compare remaining flight times. This makes it easy to decide which elytra to use for your next journey.
Does this mod work with enchanted elytra?
Yes, the flight time display appears on all elytra regardless of enchantments. Enchantments like mending and unbreaking will affect durability loss, but the mod will still show accurate remaining flight time.
Will the mod show flight time for elytra in item frames or armor stands?
The tooltip only appears when you hover over an elytra in your inventory or in containers. Elytra displayed on armor stands or in item frames won't show the flight time tooltip.
Does the flight time change if I use firework rockets?
