Create a Bow Build with Lightning Aspect

Lightning Aspect Basics

Lightning Aspect makes projectiles shot from bows and crossbows travel faster. This is a pure speed enhancement—your arrows and bolts reach targets quicker, making it easier to land shots on moving enemies and reducing travel time over distance.

Incompatibilities to Avoid

Lightning Aspect conflicts with:

• Quick Charge (crossbow enchantment)
• Curse of Earth (bow/crossbow curse)

Do not try to combine these on the same weapon.

Building Your Bow

For a fast-projectile build:

1. Apply Lightning Aspect to your bow or crossbow

2. Add standard bow enchantments like Power, Infinity, or Punch

3. Avoid Quick Charge and Curse of Earth

Why it matters:

Faster projectiles are harder for enemies to dodge and better for PvP scenarios. Combined with Power enchantment, you create a bow that both shoots quickly and hits hard.

Alternative: Curse of Earth

If you want a different bow playstyle, Curse of Earth slows projectiles but adds close-combat damage to the bow itself. This is incompatible with Lightning Aspect, so choose your bow's role before enchanting.
