Making Spawn Eggs Readable in Item Frames and on the Ground

Where the Texture Actually Applies

This pack changes the item texture, so the face appears anywhere the egg item is rendered: your inventory, your hand, dropped items, item frames, and the creative menu. It does not change the mob that spawns, the egg's behavior, or any block.

Getting the Best View

  • In item frames, rotate the frame so the egg sits upright. A rotated egg shows the face at an angle and looks wrong.
  • On the ground, dropped eggs render small. If you are using them as a floor marker, place them in a frame or on an item-holding block instead of dropping them.
  • In your hand, the face is visible in first person only when the egg is held up. Switch to third person if you want to confirm which egg you are holding while moving.

Common Confusion

Players sometimes expect the egg to look different in a chest versus the hotbar. It looks the same everywhere — the difference is just render size. If a face looks blurry, that is the resolution of the pack, not a bug; move closer or open the item frame's view by standing directly in front of it.
