Fixing Common Randomizer Tool Problems (Too Random, Not Random Enough)

Most Randomizer Tool frustrations come down to palette size or how the tool is applied. Here is how to troubleshoot the usual complaints.

"My Build Looks Too Chaotic"

Your palette probably contains blocks that contrast too much.

1. Open the Randomizer Tool configuration.

2. Remove the blocks that stand out most against the others.

3. Keep only variants that share a similar tone and texture.

4. Rebuild the affected area, or manually replace the worst offenders.

"It Barely Looks Random"

This usually means your palette is too small or too similar.

1. Add one or two more variants to the list.

2. Make sure at least one block differs noticeably in shade.

3. Apply the tool over a larger area so the variation is visible.

"It Only Affects Some Blocks"

Check that you are actually placing with the Randomizer Tool selected, and that your building mode is set to fill the area you intend. If you switch tools mid-build, later placements use the new tool, not the randomizer.

General Advice

Test a palette on a small patch before committing it to a large wall, and adjust the list until the mix looks right.
