How to Check Effect Amplifier and Duration Before They Expire

Knowing exactly how strong an effect is and how long it has left changes how you play. Effect Tooltips Mod surfaces both the amplifier (level) and the remaining duration directly in the tooltip, so you do not have to guess whether your Speed is level one or level two, or whether your Fire Resistance will last through the next fight.

Reading the Numbers

1. Hover over the effect icon and look for the amplifier line. It states the level of the effect, which corresponds to how many times it has been stacked or how strong the source applied it.

2. Look for the duration line. This shows the time remaining, usually counting down in the same format the game uses for other timers.

3. Re-hover periodically to watch the duration tick down if you are timing a risky maneuver around an effect expiring.

Practical Uses

Use the amplifier readout to confirm whether a beacon, potion, or modded aura is giving you the tier you expect. If you are about to enter a boss fight, checking remaining duration prevents the classic mistake of a buff dropping mid-fight because you misjudged the timer.
