Pick and Apply Custom Colors

Accessing the Color Picker

EclipseUI includes a color picker tool for mods that let you customize colors in their settings. This is useful for UI themes, overlay colors, or visual indicators.

Steps to Pick a Color

1. Find a color picker button or colored square in your mod's configuration screen

2. Click it to open the color selection interface

3. Choose your color by:

  • Clicking on the color gradient area to select hue and saturation
  • Adjusting the brightness/value slider on the side
  • Optionally entering a hex color code directly if a text field is available

4. Confirm your selection (usually via an OK or Apply button)

Tips

Most color pickers show a preview of your selected color before you apply it. If you know the exact hex code of your desired color (like #FF5733), you can often paste it directly into a text field rather than clicking through the picker. Some mods also include a recent colors section for quick access to previously used shades.
