EclipseUI Mod FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I open the EclipseUI settings screen?
Open your mod list (usually through ModMenu), find the mod that uses EclipseUI, and click its settings button. The configuration screen will open with all available options for that mod.
What's the difference between Faithful and Modern themes?
Faithful theme mimics vanilla Minecraft's classic blocky aesthetic, while Modern theme uses flat, minimalist design with smoother edges. You can switch between them in the theme settings without restarting.
Can I use EclipseUI on a server or only single-player?
EclipseUI is a client-side mod, so it only affects your local settings menu and doesn't require server installation. Server-side mods that use EclipseUI will still work normally.
Why aren't my slider changes saving?
Make sure you confirm your changes before closing the screen—look for a Save or Apply button at the bottom. If changes still don't persist, check that your config folder has write permissions.
Do I need to install EclipseUI separately or does it come with other mods?
EclipseUI is a library mod that other mods depend on; you need to install it alongside any mod that requires it. Check the mod's dependency list to confirm EclipseUI is required.
Can I use EclipseUI with both Fabric and NeoForge at the same time?
No, you run either Fabric or NeoForge, not both in the same instance. EclipseUI works on whichever loader you choose, so install the correct version for your setup.
How do I reset a setting to its default value?
Look for a reset button or icon next to individual settings, or check if there's a Reset All option in the menu. Some mods may require closing and deleting the config file to restore defaults.
Is EclipseUI causing lag or performance issues?
EclipseUI is designed to be lightweight and shouldn't noticeably impact performance. If you experience slowdowns, the issue is likely with a mod using EclipseUI, not the library itself.
Why can't I find the color picker or some controls in my settings?
Not all mods use every EclipseUI control—developers choose which options to include. If a setting isn't visible, that mod simply doesn't offer that configuration option.
Do I need to restart Minecraft after changing EclipseUI settings?
Most settings apply immediately without a restart, but some mods may require a world reload or full restart depending on what you changed. Check the specific mod's guide if unsure.
