Adjust Numeric Settings with Sliders

Understanding Number Sliders

Many EclipseUI configuration options use interactive sliders for numeric values. These let you fine-tune settings smoothly without typing exact numbers.

Using Sliders Effectively

1. Locate the slider control in your mod's settings screen

2. Click and drag the slider handle left or right to adjust the value

3. Watch the number display (usually shown above or beside the slider) update in real-time

4. Release to confirm your selection

Alternative Input Methods

• Click directly on the slider track to jump to that position instantly
• Click the number value itself on some sliders to type a precise number manually
• Use arrow keys (if the slider is focused) for fine incremental adjustments

Tips

Sliders often have minimum and maximum bounds — you cannot exceed these limits by dragging. If you need a value outside the slider range, check if a text input field is available nearby for direct entry.
