Understanding Coordinate Protection

Easy Auth includes a coordinate protection feature that prevents players from moving around or accessing your location data while you're logged out. This stops griefers or thieves from finding your base or stealing items while your character is unattended.

How It Works

When you log out or disconnect without logging out, your character becomes frozen in place. Other players cannot see you move, and you cannot interact with the world. Your exact coordinates are hidden from anyone not logged in.

Staying Safe

• Always log out properly before leaving your computer or going AFK for long periods
• Use a strong password so no one can log in as you
• Enable sessions by connecting from consistent IP addresses, so you don't accidentally stay logged out
• If you're worried about your base location, avoid building near spawn or well-traveled areas

This feature works alongside the mod's session system. If you're on a trusted connection, you may stay logged in automatically, so coordinate protection won't activate. If you disconnect from an unfamiliar network, you'll be logged out and protected.
