Easy Auth Mod FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

How do I register when I first join the server?
Use the `/register ` command to create your account. Make sure you type your password twice correctly, and choose something you'll remember—you'll need it every time you rejoin.
What happens if I don't log in after rejoining?
You'll be in a logged-out state where you can't move, build, use items, or interact with the world. You must log in with `/login ` before you can do anything.
Will I have to log in every single time I rejoin the server?
Not necessarily—if you rejoin from the same IP address, the mod can automatically log you back in using session data. If you join from a different IP, you'll need to log in manually.
Can I use special characters or spaces in my password?
Yes, the mod supports special characters in passwords, so you can make them more secure. Just make sure you remember exactly what you typed, including any symbols.
How do I change my password if I forget it or want a new one?
Use the `/changepassword ` command. You'll need to know your current password to set a new one.
What's the point of coordinate protection?
Coordinate protection hides your location from other players while you're logged out, so they can't find your base or important builds. Once you log in, your coordinates are visible again.
Does this mod work with online-mode servers?
Yes, it works with both online and offline servers. For online servers, players with purchased Minecraft accounts are automatically logged in, while others need to register and log in manually.
Will Easy Auth cause lag or performance issues?
The mod is designed to be lightweight and shouldn't noticeably impact server performance. It works smoothly alongside other mods like LuckPerms and Vanish.
What if someone else tries to log into my account?
The mod prevents unauthorized access—only the correct password will log in as you. If you're worried about account theft, use a strong, unique password and change it if you suspect compromise.
Can the server admin see my password?
No, passwords are stored securely and server admins cannot see them. The mod is designed to keep your account safe from unauthorized access, including by server staff.
