How to Grow and Harvest Dynamic Quark Trees

Getting the Saplings

Dynamic Quark trees drop saplings the same way vanilla trees do, but the trees themselves grow with Dynamic Trees' branching logic, so you need to plant them on valid soil and give them room. Ancient, azalea, and blossom trees all start from their respective saplings. Break leaves by hand or with shears to collect them; using a hoe on grown leaves can also yield saplings in some Dynamic Trees setups.

Planting and Growth

Place the sapling on dirt, grass, or podzol and let it grow naturally, or use bone meal to speed it up. Unlike vanilla saplings, these grow into a trunk that thickens over time and spreads branches outward. Give each tree several blocks of horizontal clearance so branches do not clip into walls. Once the trunk is mature, you can right-click or use an axe to harvest logs without felling the whole tree — Dynamic Trees lets you take individual logs while the tree keeps growing.

Harvesting Products

Blossom trees produce blossom-related drops, and glow shrooms behave like their own growth. Use an axe for logs and shears for leaves and blossoms. If a tree stops growing, check that it has light and space; cramped conditions stall branch expansion. Replant saplings nearby to build a sustainable grove rather than clearing everything at once.
