Dynamic Trees saplings grow gradually over time and need proper light and space, so a cramped or dark spot will stall them. Make sure the seed is planted on the correct soil type and that nothing is blocking the canopy area above it.

Use an axe on the trunk to chop individual logs, and the tree will regrow over time instead of disappearing like a vanilla tree. Cutting the whole thing down at once is possible but removes the tree permanently.
