Dye Modded Armor

Check Mod Compatibility

This mod supports most modded armor pieces, expanding dyeing beyond vanilla options. If your modded armor doesn't dye through normal means, this mod likely enables it.

Craft with Dye

Take your modded armor piece and place it in a crafting grid alongside a dye color, just as you would with vanilla armor. The dye will apply to the modded armor, overriding its default color.

Verify the Result

Some modded armor may have special textures or patterns. Dyeing will tint these while preserving their visual details. Check your inventory to confirm the color applied correctly.

Limitations

Not all modded armor is supported—compatibility depends on how the mod implements its armor. If a specific modded armor piece doesn't dye, it may use a custom rendering system incompatible with this mod. In such cases, you'll need to use the mod's own customization options, if available.

Always test with a single piece before dyeing valuable or rare armor.
