Dye Horse Armor

Prepare Your Horse Armor

Obtain a piece of horse armor (leather, iron, gold, or diamond). This mod extends dyeing functionality to all horse armor types, not just leather variants.

Dye in the Crafting Grid

Place your horse armor and a dye color in your crafting table or inventory grid. The armor will take on the dye color immediately. Horse armor dyeing works identically to regular armor dyeing—one dye per craft.

Equip and Verify

Once dyed, place the colored horse armor on your horse by opening the horse's inventory screen. The horse will display your custom-colored armor, making it visually distinct from other horses.

Change Colors Anytime

If you want a different color, simply craft the horse armor with a new dye. There's no penalty for re-dyeing—the armor keeps its durability and properties. This lets you customize your horse's appearance to match your gear or aesthetic preferences without needing multiple armor pieces.
