Understand When You Can Sleep to Skip the Night

How Sleep Timing Works

Dusk Mod changes when players are allowed to sleep compared to vanilla Minecraft.

• Attempt to use your bed at dusk; you'll receive a message if sleeping is not yet allowed
• Continue waiting as the night progresses
• Once the configured sleep time arrives, you can enter your bed and skip to dawn

Check Your Server Configuration

The exact sleep time depends on your server's settings:

• Ask your server admin for the configured sleep time, or test it yourself by trying to sleep at different points in the night
• Some servers may disable sleeping entirely, forcing you to survive the full night

This mechanic makes nights more challenging by preventing instant skips and forcing players to prepare defenses.
