Tracking Potion and Effect Timers Without Opening Your Inventory
The mod can show remaining time for active effects on the HUD, which lets you keep mining, fighting, or building instead of pausing to check.
Enabling the Effect Timer
Open the mod's config screen and find the section covering effects, buffs, or potion timers. Enable the option that displays active effect durations on the HUD. Some versions let you choose whether timers appear only when an effect is about to expire or always while active; pick based on how much screen clutter you tolerate. If there is a position setting for the timer, place it near your durability readout so all your at-a-glance information sits together.
Using It in Practice
Drink a potion such as Water Breathing or Fire Resistance and watch the timer count down on screen. Use it to judge whether you can finish a dive, cross a lava field, or clear one more room before the effect ends. When the timer gets low, drink a fresh potion early rather than waiting for the effect to lapse mid-task. If timers overlap with other HUD elements, adjust their position or scale in the config until everything is readable during normal play.
