How to Combine the Crit Sound Pack With Other Resource Packs
Understanding Pack Priority
Minecraft loads resource packs from top to bottom in the Selected list. If two packs change the same sound file, the one higher in the list wins. The Dungeons Crit Sound Resource Pack only touches the critical hit sound, so it will not conflict with packs that change textures, fonts, or other audio. However, if you use another pack that also replaces combat sounds, you need to decide which one you want to hear. Place the Dungeons Crit Sound Resource Pack above the other combat-sound pack if you want the Dungeons crit audio to play.
Testing for Conflicts
After arranging your packs, enter a world and land a critical hit on a mob. If you hear the vanilla crit sound or a different custom sound, your pack order is wrong. Go back to Options → Resource Packs and drag the Dungeons Crit Sound Resource Pack higher. If you hear no crit sound at all, another pack may be replacing it with silence — move this pack above that one. You can also temporarily disable all other packs to confirm this pack works on its own, then re-enable them one by one. Remember that changing pack order does not require a game restart, so you can test immediately after clicking Done.
