What to Do With the Manor's Maps, Allays, and Basement

Using the Map Rooms

Some rooms in the Illager Manor contain maps pointing to Pillager Outposts or Ancient Cities. Collect these before you leave, since they are the manor's most unique reward. A Pillager Outpost map is useful for farming Bad Omen and raid supplies, while an Ancient City map sends you toward one of the most dangerous and rewarding structures in the game. Store them safely and read them once you are back in a safe area.

Rescuing the Basement Prisoners

The basement contains jail cells holding Allays, Villagers, and an Iron Golem. Break the Allays free and they will follow you, letting you lead them to a safe base or use them to help gather resources. Villagers can be transported home to start or expand a trading hall — bring a boat or minecart for the journey. The Iron Golem is a powerful ally but also a hazard if provoked; free it only if you can handle the chaos, or leave it locked away.

Exploring the Attic and Gardens

Do not skip the attic, which is filled with decorations and cobwebs worth clearing for hidden loot. Finally, walk the seven garden variations around the manor's exterior — they add atmosphere and sometimes conceal extra chests or resources before you head home.
