How to Find and Enter an Illager Manor

Locating the Structure

With this data pack installed, Woodland Mansions no longer generate. Instead, the Illager Manor replaces them at the same world positions. The easiest way to reach one is to use a Woodland Explorer Map, which now points to an Illager Manor rather than a vanilla mansion. Buy one from a Cartographer Villager, then follow the map marker across the world.

If you would rather skip the search, run /locate structure nova_structures:illager_manor in chat. The vanilla command /locate structure minecraft:mansion also still works because the manor occupies the mansion's slot. Note the coordinates it returns, then travel there.

Approaching Safely

Illager Manors are large and densely packed with hostile mobs, so scout the exterior before charging in. Circle the building to spot the seven garden variations around it — these often contain decorative cover and occasionally loot. Look for a clear entrance rather than breaking through walls, since the interior layout is complex and easy to get lost in. Bring a bed or note your entry point so you can retreat. Once inside, expect Vindicators, Pillagers, and at least one guaranteed Evoker, so carry a shield and ranged options before committing to a full clear.
