How to Find a Nether Fortress with the Overhaul Mod
Using the Locate Command
The fastest way to find an overhauled fortress is the vanilla locate command. Open chat and run /locate structure minecraft:fortress. The mod keeps the vanilla structure ID, so this works without any changes. The output gives you coordinates; use /tp or travel manually through the Nether to reach them. Remember that one block in the Nether equals eight blocks in the Overworld, so plan your portal placement accordingly.
Searching Manually
If you prefer exploring without commands, travel along the X or Z axis in a straight line through the Nether. Fortresses generate in most Nether biomes, so you do not need to hunt for a specific biome. Bring fire resistance potions, blocks for bridging over lava, and a bow. The overhauled bridges are slimmer than vanilla, so watch your footing when approaching from below or the side. Once you spot the brutalist bridge silhouette, follow it inward to reach the decorated halls.
What to Expect on Arrival
The redesigned fortress looks different from vanilla, so do not assume a bridge segment is the whole structure. Walk the full length of the bridge to reach the interior halls, where the guaranteed blaze spawner and magma cube spawners are located. Mark your entrance with torches or a distinctive block so you can find your way back out after looting.
