How to Loot the Ancient City Efficiently in One Trip
A full clear of the overhauled city takes planning. The compact layout means more loot per square block, but also more backtracking if you are disorganized.
Set Up a Base Camp
Pick a central room near your entrance and drop a chest there. As you clear houses, ferry loot back to camp instead of carrying everything. This keeps your inventory free for the diamonds and armor pieces the overhaul adds, and gives you a safe spot to sort ancient fragments from junk.
Clear in a Spiral, Not a Straight Line
Start at the outer edge of the city and work inward in a spiral. This way you always know which streets you have already checked, and you naturally end near the center where the densest structures tend to sit. At each house, loot the chests, then dig the floor for buried items before moving on. Mark cleared houses with a torch on the roof so you do not re-enter them. Because the walls are taller and the roads narrower, a spiral keeps you from getting turned around, and it means your escape route back to camp is always the street you just came from.
