Display Player Heads as Decoration

Collecting Heads

When a player dies anywhere in your world, their head automatically drops at the death location. Walk over the dropped head to collect it into your inventory like any other item.

Placing Heads on Display

Player heads can be placed on top of blocks just like regular Minecraft head blocks. Right-click on the top surface of any solid block to place a collected head there. The head will display the exact skin appearance of the player at the time they died—even if that player later changes their skin, the placed head retains the original look.

Creating Head Collections

Build a memorial wall, trophy room, or display case using item frames and armor stands for creative arrangements. Heads stack naturally in your inventory, making it easy to transport multiple heads for large displays. Consider organizing heads by player name or death date for a themed collection.

Preservation Note

Once placed, heads won't change appearance. This makes them perfect for commemorating specific moments or preserving how players looked during particular events or seasons of play.
