How do I enable the drop confirmation dialog?
The dialog is on by default once the mod is installed, so simply pressing your drop key on a stack should trigger it. If nothing appears, check the mod's config file and make sure the confirmation option is toggled on.
How do I turn off the drop confirmation?
Open the mod's config file and disable the confirmation toggle, or use the in-game config screen if the mod provides one. After saving, dropping items returns to the vanilla instant behavior.
Does Drop Confirm Mod work in multiplayer servers?
Yes, but it's a client-side mod, so it only protects you on your own client and doesn't need to be installed on the server. Other players without the mod won't see any confirmation dialog.
Can the mod stop me from dropping items into lava or the void?
It adds a confirmation prompt before the drop goes through, which gives you a chance to cancel when you're near lava, a void, or another hazard. It doesn't block the drop outright, so you can still confirm if you really want to.
