How to Quiet or Louder the Drip Sounds
The mod's droplet sounds default to fairly quiet so they blend into ambience. If you want them more noticeable — or want to mute them entirely — adjust the volume in the config.
Opening the Config
Find the mod's config file in your instance's config folder and open it in a text editor. Look for a volume option, usually a decimal between 0 and 1, where 0 is silent and 1 is full volume.
Setting the Volume
Raise the value to make drips louder, lower it to make them quieter, or set it to 0 to effectively disable the sound. Save the file. Restart the game or apply via the in-game config screen if available.
Verifying
Stand beneath a dripping water block and listen. If you hear nothing at all even at a high value, check that your master and ambient/block sound sliders in Minecraft's own audio settings are not turned down, since the mod's sounds respect those categories.
Lava vs Water
Water drips and lava drips may share one volume control or have separate ones depending on your config layout. If only one type is too loud, look for a second volume entry before assuming the setting failed.
