How to Increase or Decrease the Number of Drip Particles
If dripping water or lava is too sparse or too busy for your build, the mod lets you tune how many drip particles appear.
Locating the Particle Setting
Open the mod's config file in your instance's config folder. Find the option that controls drip particle frequency or amount. It is usually a numeric value — a higher number means more particles, a lower number means fewer. Some versions express it as a multiplier or a chance rather than a raw count.
Adjusting the Value
Change the number to suit your preference. If you want a lively cave with constant dripping, raise it. If you want a subtle effect or better performance, lower it. Save the file and reload the config (restart the game or use the in-game config screen).
Testing the Result
Place a water or lava source block with a solid block directly beneath it, leaving a gap so drips can fall through. Watch the particles for a few seconds. If the change is not visible, confirm you edited the right file and that the value is within the range the mod accepts — extremely high values may be clamped.
Performance Tip
Very high particle counts in large caves can cost frames. Lower the value if you notice stutter.
