Find and Identify All Night Fury Variants

Locating Night Fury Variants

Night Furies in your world may now spawn with one of five unique cosmic and aquatic skins. These variants spawn naturally in the same locations where regular Night Furies appear, so explore caves, cliffs, and dark areas to encounter them.

The Five Patterns

Watch for these distinct appearances:

• Celestial: Features deep space theming with star-like markings
• Aetherion: A ethereal, otherworldly design
• Serenyx: A serene, calming pattern
• Tide Runner: Ocean-inspired coloring and patterns
• Aurorae: Aurora borealis-themed with flowing colors

Tips for Finding Variants

Variants spawn randomly alongside standard Night Furies, so there's no guaranteed location. Search multiple biomes and times of day to increase your chances. Once you spot a variant you like, tame it using the standard taming method for Night Furies. Each variant behaves identically to regular Night Furies—the mod only changes their appearance, not their mechanics or abilities.

If you're having trouble finding a specific variant, try exploring different biome types, as some patterns may appear more frequently in certain environments.
