Improve Lighting in Dark Areas

Understand Lighting Adjustments

Doruk's Plus Shaders enhances world lighting while maintaining performance. Access shader options to find lighting-related settings such as "Ambient Light," "Brightness," or "Lighting Intensity."

Brighten Underlit Spaces

Increase ambient light values to make caves, forests, and interiors more visible without relying solely on torches. This creates a more balanced, semi-realistic lighting environment. Be careful not to over-brighten, which can wash out contrast and shadows.

Preserve Shadow Contrast

If you increase overall brightness, ensure shadows remain visible and defined. Look for a "Contrast" or "Shadow Strength" slider to maintain depth perception. The shader's clean shadow system should keep dark areas readable even with enhanced lighting.

Test in Various Conditions

Visit caves, dense forests, and night-time areas to evaluate changes. Adjust settings until dark spaces feel naturally lit without appearing flat or over-exposed. The goal is improved visibility while keeping the semi-realistic aesthetic intact.
