Setting Up a Player-Only Configuration

If you want flips to be a unique player mechanic and prevent mobs from flipping, you'll need to use the whitelist mode.

Configuration Steps

1. Open your mod's config file

2. Set invertMobs to false (this converts the list to a whitelist)

3. Clear the flippingMobs list completely, or leave it empty

4. Save the file and reload your world

With an empty whitelist and invertMobs set to false, no mobs will flip—only players will perform flips when falling from heights over two blocks.

Testing

Jump or fall from a height greater than two blocks as a player. You should see flips occur based on your flipChance setting. Spawn mobs nearby and have them fall from the same height—they should not flip.
