How to Recycle Diamond Armor into Diamonds

Understanding the Armor Recipe

Diamond armor pieces—helmet, chestplate, leggings, and boots—can all be recycled. Unlike tools, armor requires fewer pieces per diamond. Gather four diamond armor pieces to complete one recycling recipe.

Setting Up the Craft

Approach your crafting table and open it. Place four diamond armor pieces in the crafting grid following the Diamond Recycling pattern. You can mix different armor types (for example, a helmet and three leggings work together).

When the recipe is complete, collect your diamond from the output slot.

When to Recycle Armor

Recycle armor when you've found better protection elsewhere, when pieces are too damaged to be useful, or when you're switching to a different material. This prevents valuable diamonds from being wasted and gives you resources for crafting new gear or trading.
