Troubleshoot Hearts Not Displaying Correctly
Checking Pack Priority
If hearts appear broken or use vanilla textures:
1. Open Resource Packs menu
2. Ensure Dev's Heart Resource Pack is positioned above any conflicting packs in the active list
3. Drag the pack upward if needed — higher position = higher priority
4. Close the menu and return to your world
Verifying Pack Activation
1. Take damage to see your health bar update
2. Check that hearts match the style you selected, not vanilla red
3. Confirm the pack shows as active (not grayed out) in your resource packs list
Clearing Cache
If changes don't appear:
1. Close Minecraft completely
2. Delete the resourcepacks cache folder (location varies by launcher)
3. Relaunch Minecraft
4. Reload your world
This forces the game to reload all textures fresh. If hearts still display incorrectly, verify the pack file isn't corrupted by reinstalling it.
