How do I activate the resource pack after downloading it?
Place the resource pack file in your resourcepacks folder, then open the Resource Packs menu in your world settings and move Dev's Heart Resource Pack to the active side. Your hearts should update immediately once you apply the changes.
Can I use this pack with other resource packs at the same time?
Yes, but pack order matters—place Dev's Heart Resource Pack higher in your resource pack list if you want its hearts to override other packs' designs. If another pack is ranked higher, it may override these hearts instead.
Why aren't my hearts changing appearance?
Make sure the resource pack is moved to the active side in Resource Packs settings and that you're not in a world that was created with a different pack already applied. Try closing and reopening your world, or reload your resource packs from the settings menu.
How do I switch between different heart styles in this pack?
This pack includes multiple heart style options—check the resource pack's folder for any included variant files or configuration options, then select your preferred style and reapply the pack.
Does this work with Hardcore mode?
Yes, the pack includes dedicated Hardcore mode heart designs that display when you enable Hardcore in your world settings. Your hearts will automatically switch to the Hardcore style once the mode is active.
Why do my absorption hearts look wrong or don't match the regular hearts?
Absorption hearts use a separate texture file—make sure the pack includes absorption heart designs and that they're properly installed in the textures folder. If they're still mismatched, try reinstalling the pack.
Do the custom hearts work in multiplayer servers?
Resource packs are client-side only, so the hearts will display for you even on servers that don't have the pack installed. Other players won't see your custom hearts unless they install the pack themselves.
Will this pack affect my performance or FPS?
No, resource packs only change textures and don't impact game performance—you should see no FPS difference with this pack active.
Can I use this pack with mods that add new health mechanics?
