Reduce Screen Blur and Sharpness

Open Shader Configuration

Access your shader options through Video Settings > Shaders > Shader Options. Confirm Despatra's CRT Shaders is active.

Locate Blur or Sharpness Settings

Search the available options for controls labeled blur, sharpness, focus, or clarity. These settings control how crisp or soft the overall image appears when the CRT effect is applied.

Adjust for Clarity

If the shader makes your game look too blurry, increase the sharpness value or decrease blur. If the image feels too harsh, do the opposite. The CRT effect naturally softens edges slightly to simulate old monitor technology, so some blur is intentional—find the balance that feels right for your gameplay.

Test Across Environments

Move through different areas—caves, forests, bright skies—to ensure your sharpness setting works well everywhere. Text on signs and distant details should remain readable without looking artificial or overly processed.
