Enable or Disable Chromatic Aberration
Access Shader Options Menu
Enter Video Settings > Shaders > Shader Options while playing. Make sure Despatra's CRT Shaders is your active shader pack.
Find Chromatic Aberration Control
Look for an option labeled chromatic aberration, color fringing, RGB shift, or color separation. This effect simulates the color misalignment that occurred on old CRT monitors, where red, green, and blue channels didn't perfectly align.
Toggle or Adjust Intensity
If the option is a toggle, simply enable or disable it based on preference. If it's a slider, adjust the intensity—higher values create more noticeable color fringing at screen edges, while lower values make it subtle or nearly invisible.
Evaluate the Effect
Chromatic aberration is most visible at the edges of your screen and in high-contrast areas. Look at the corners of your view and bright objects against dark backgrounds. Decide whether the authentic CRT look enhances your experience or feels distracting, then adjust accordingly.
