How to Fix the HD Sun and Moon Pack Not Showing Up
Check the Pack Folder Structure
The most common cause is a wrong folder layout. Open your resourcepacks folder and inspect the pack. A valid pack has pack.mcmeta and an assets folder at its top level. If you see a single folder containing those instead, the pack is nested one level too deep — move the inner folder up so pack.mcmeta sits at the pack's root. Reopen the Resource Packs screen afterward so Minecraft rescans the folder.
Confirm It Is Selected and On Top
A pack in the Available column does nothing. Move it to Selected with the arrow. If you run several packs, drag this one to the top of the selected list, since a lower pack editing the same textures will hide it. Click Done to apply and re-enter the world.
Rule Out Other Causes
If the pack still will not appear, verify the file is a complete download and not a partial or corrupted archive — re-download if unsure. Make sure you are editing the correct .minecraft instance, especially if you use multiple launchers or profiles. Finally, if a shader or sky mod is active, disable it temporarily to confirm the resource pack works on its own, then reintroduce the shader and adjust its celestial settings.
