Why do my mobs still look modern even with the pack installed?
You need to install OptiFine or a custom entity model mod for old mob shapes to display correctly. The resource pack alone cannot change mob models—it requires these mods to load the classic mob geometry.
How do I enable the Programmer Art pack that the mod mentions?
Open your game settings, go to Resource Packs, and toggle on the built-in Programmer Art pack. This pack works alongside Default Beta Resource Pack to enhance the classic look.
Do I need to start a new world for the textures to work?
No, the resource pack applies to any world immediately after activation. Simply load an existing world or create a new one—the classic textures will display right away.
Why do my chests look like full blocks instead of the double chest model?
This is intentional—the pack changes normal chests into full blocks to match the Beta 1.7.3 appearance. If you want the old double-chest model, check if you have conflicting resource packs enabled.
How do I get the Technoblade pig crown?
Use a
