How to Escape the Deeper Dark

Finding the Exit Portal

To leave the Deeper Dark, you must locate another Ancient City within the dimension itself. This is your only exit route. The Deeper Dark is vast and dangerous, so prepare for an extended exploration.

Exiting Successfully

1. Search the Deeper Dark landscape for signs of an Ancient City structure

2. Navigate carefully to avoid alerting the Warden with vibrations

3. Once you reach the Ancient City, locate its central portal

4. Hold an Echo Shard in your hand

5. Approach the portal to return to the Overworld

Preparation Tips

Bring plenty of supplies before attempting escape: food for healing, blocks for building safe paths, and a reliable light source. The Deeper Dark's darkness and sculk terrain make navigation difficult. Consider marking your path with blocks or torches as you explore, so you can retrace your steps if needed. Move cautiously to minimize vibrations that might attract the Warden.
