Deconature FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

How do I start using Deconature Mod?
Craft a Sprouting Table first using the recipe available in your crafting menu, then use it to create Bio Material by placing seeds, logs, or cobblestone in the input slot and bonemeal in the fuel slot. Once you have Bio Material, craft a Nature Bench to turn that material into your final decorative plants and pots.
What do I need to put in the Sprouting Table?
Place any combination of seeds, logs, or cobblestone in the input slot, add bonemeal to the fuel slot, and press START to produce Bio Material. The exact ratio of inputs determines what type of Bio Material you get.
Can I change the shape of plants after I place them?
Yes, craft Hedge Clippers and equip them, then use them on placed plants to reshape them into different forms. Not all plants can be reshaped—only certain decorative plants support this feature.
Do different biomes have different plants I can make?
Yes, the mod includes biome-specific flora like desert cacti, water plants, and forest greenery that you can craft at the Nature Bench. Check what plants are available in your current biome's plant list.
What's the difference between the Sprouting Table and Nature Bench?
The Sprouting Table converts raw materials (seeds, logs, cobblestone) into Bio Material using bonemeal as fuel. The Nature Bench takes that Bio Material and crafts it into the final decorative plants, pots, and outdoor items you place in your world.
Can I use climbing ivy on any block?
Climbing ivy can be placed on most solid blocks, but it grows best on wood and stone surfaces that fit a cottage aesthetic. Experiment with placement on different block types to see which ones support the ivy visually.
Do I need bonemeal for every craft at the Sprouting Table?
Yes, bonemeal is required as fuel in the Sprouting Table for every Bio Material crafting cycle. Make sure you have a steady supply of bonemeal before starting large decoration projects.
Can I craft potted plants at the Nature Bench?
Yes, the Nature Bench lets you craft potted versions of many plants along with standalone decorative flora. Potted plants are great for creating organized garden displays around your house.
What happens if I run out of Bio Material mid-project?
You'll need to go back to the Sprouting Table and make more Bio Material using seeds, logs, cobblestone, and bonemeal. Plan ahead for large builds by crafting extra Bio Material in advance.
Are there tall plants like trees I can craft?
Yes, the mod includes tall cacti and other large decorative plants that you can craft at the Nature Bench to add height and variety to your outdoor spaces. These work well for creating natural-looking garden backdrops.
