Understand Cross-Dimensional Pursuit

Hollow Steve does not reset when you enter portals to the Nether, the End, or other dimensions. Combat progress carries over, meaning the entity arrives at full health but with the same phase difficulty. Portals offer no escape—only temporary repositioning.

Use Dimensional Travel Strategically

Entering a new dimension can provide breathing room to heal and reorganize, but expect Hollow Steve to arrive shortly. Use this time wisely: gather dimensional resources, craft better gear, or set up advantageous terrain. Avoid traveling to dimensions unprepared.

Combat in Hostile Dimensions

In the Nether, Hollow Steve swims through lava without drowning and fights effectively in hazardous terrain. In the End, open space limits hiding options. Adjust your strategy for each dimension's unique challenges. Bring fire resistance potions for the Nether and consider bringing blocks to create cover in the End.

Plan Your Route

If you're not ready for the next phase, avoid portals entirely. Staying in the Overworld gives you familiar terrain and established bases for defense.
