Enable Visual Particle Effects at Death Locations

Access the Effects Menu

Open the Death Sound Mod menu and navigate to the visual effects section. This is where you control what appears on screen when a player dies.

Select a Particle Effect

The mod offers several preset particle effects. Browse the available options and choose one that suits your preference. Some effects are subtle and blend into the environment; others are bold and immediately grab your attention.

Customize Effect Appearance

Once you've selected an effect, you can often adjust its intensity, color, or spread. Experiment with different settings to find a balance between visibility and visual clutter.

Verify in-Game

After selecting your particle effect, have another player die within your render distance to see it in action. Particle effects work alongside the audio cue, giving you both sound and visual confirmation that someone nearby has fallen. This dual feedback is especially useful in chaotic multiplayer battles where audio alone might be missed.
