Daot Spring Addon FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I transform into a titan for the first time?
Press your transformation key once to bite your hand, then press it again to fully transform into your assigned titan form. If you haven't set a family bloodline yet, use the /family roll command to randomly assign one, which determines your starting titan type.
What's the best way to level up quickly?
You gain experience from walking, running, and taking damage, so engaging in combat with enemies is the fastest method. Defeating more enemies also reduces your fear effect over time, making progression feel natural as you play.
How do I steal powers from other titan shifters?
Defeat another titan shifter in battle, and you'll absorb their power automatically. You can then press G to swap between different absorbed titan powers during combat.
Why is my screen shaking and turning red when titans get close?
That's the fear mechanic activating—it triggers when large enemies approach you. The effect weakens as you defeat more enemies and build courage through combat, eventually becoming less intense.
How do I use the improved ODM gear to move around?
Double-tap Space to dash quickly while hooked, hold W to pull yourself upward along your cable, and hold S to slide downward. Make sure your hooks are attached to a target before attempting these movements.
Can I change my family bloodline after I've chosen one?
Yes, use the /family remove command to clear your current bloodline, then use /family roll to get a new one or /family set to choose a specific family. Each family tier (Legendary, Epic, Rare, Common) affects your starting abilities.
What does the regeneration keybind do and how do I set it up?
The regeneration keybind lets you heal yourself during combat. Go to your controls menu before fighting and assign a custom key to the regeneration function so you can use it in battle.
How do I check my current level and progression?
Your level bar appears at the bottom of your screen during gameplay. You can also use the /playerinfo command to see detailed progression stats for yourself or another player.
Can I give specific titan forms to other players on my server?
Yes, use the command /daot shifter set to assign a specific titan form to another player. This is useful for server admins setting up team compositions or events.
What happens if my level gets stuck or won't increase?
Use the /leveldebug command to check for issues with your progression system. This command can help identify and fix problems preventing you from leveling up normally.
