How to Hide Certain Paintings From the Cycle

Why Filter Paintings

By default, cycling walks through every registered painting of the matching size, including ones you may find ugly or that clash with your build. The mod lets you exclude specific paintings so they never show up while cycling.

Editing the Config

1. Locate the mod's config file in your Minecraft config folder.

2. Open it in a plain text editor.

3. Find the setting that controls which paintings are ignored during cycling (the option name references ignoring paintings in the cycle by resource location).

4. Add the resource locations of the paintings you want to skip, following the format already shown in the file.

5. Save the file and reload the game or config so the change takes effect.

Once excluded, those paintings will no longer appear when you right-click or sneak-click a painting to cycle it. Everything else still rotates normally.

Verifying Your List

If you're unsure of a painting's exact resource location, enable the debug option that prints all registered paintings to the console. Launch the game, check the log output, and copy the identifiers you need into the ignore list. This avoids typos that would silently fail to filter anything.
