Cybernetics FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I get my first robotic part?
Explore abandoned laboratories generated around your world to find data shards and basic implant blueprints. You can also defeat Cyberzombies and Cyberskeletons to loot starter-tier parts, then use the
Engineering Table to craft or modify them.

Power is a resource that depletes as you use cybernetic abilities and must be recharged. Humanity decreases as you install more parts; if it drops too low, you risk cyberpsychosis, which causes negative effects until you restore your humanity or remove parts.
How do I avoid cyberpsychosis?
Balance your implant installations by not replacing too many body parts at once, and monitor your humanity meter. You can restore humanity by spending time away from combat, using certain consumables, or removing some of your cybernetic parts.
Can I change my mind about installed parts?
Yes—use the
Engineering Table to disassemble and remove implants from your body, though this may cost resources depending on the part's complexity.

Metal limbs and eyes can be dyed just like leather armor—place them in a crafting grid with dye to change their color, allowing you to customize your cyborg appearance.
What's the Ripper and why would I use them?
The Ripper is an Illager doctor found in clinics who can install cybernetic parts for you in exchange for payment, offering an alternative to self-installation at the

Yes—full body conversion sets completely change your player skin and provide significant stat boosts compared to installing individual parts, but they consume more humanity and power.
What are HUDjack and Monovision for?
These are visual implants that modify your on-screen display and HUD, offering different visual styles and information overlays without affecting your combat stats.
Will this mod cause lag or performance issues?
The mod adds new mobs and structures that generate in the world, so performance depends on your system and other mods; consider disabling laboratory generation or adjusting mob spawn rates if you experience slowdowns.
