Connect Multiple Portals with Different Colors

Using Dye Colors to Organize Routes

Each dye color creates a separate portal network. This means you can build multiple portals from the same block type and link them to different destinations by using different dye colors. For example, use red dye for portals leading to your farm, blue dye for your mining base, and green dye for your storage area.

Setting Up Your Network

Build portal frames at each location you want to connect. Use one dye color consistently for each route—if you want a portal to link to your farm, activate both the departure and arrival frames with the same red dye.

Managing Your Routes

Keep track of which colors connect to which locations. You can use signs near portals to label them. Since portals of the same shape and color always link together, you can create a hub system where multiple portals in one location branch out to different destinations, each using a different dye color.
