How to Open the Custom Cursor Reload Config on Fabric vs Forge

Fabric: Use the Chat Command

On Fabric, Custom Cursor Reload does not add a button to the Mods menu the way Forge does. Instead, you open its settings with a client-side command. Type the following into chat:

`

/customcursor

`

This opens the configuration screen where you can change the cursor image and size. Because it is a client command, it works in singleplayer and on any multiplayer server without needing operator permissions. If the command is not recognized, confirm the mod is actually loaded for your Fabric profile.

Forge and NeoForge: Use the Mods Menu

On Forge or NeoForge, open the main menu, click Mods, find Custom Cursor Reload in the list, select it, and click the Config button. This launches the same style of settings screen.

If the GUI Will Not Open

  • Make sure you are running the correct mod loader for the build you installed.
  • Check that no other mod is conflicting with the config screen.
  • Restart the client after changing resource packs, then reopen the config.

Both paths lead to the same options, so use whichever matches your loader. The mod is client-side, so nothing needs to be configured on the server side.
