How to Change Your Cursor Image in Custom Cursor Reload Mod
Preparing Your PNG File
To replace the default cursor, you need a PNG image. The mod reads cursor textures from the standard GUI texture folder inside a resource pack, so the cleanest approach is to create or edit a resource pack rather than dropping files into the mod jar.
Create a folder structure like this inside your resource pack:
`
assets/minecraft/textures/gui/
`
Place your cursor PNG inside that gui folder. Keep the image small and use transparency for the parts you want to be invisible, since the cursor is drawn as-is over the game screen. A simple arrow or dot shape works best.
Applying It In-Game
1. Put the resource pack in your resourcepacks folder and enable it from Options > Resource Packs.
2. Open the mod's configuration screen. On Forge or NeoForge, go to the Mods menu and open Custom Cursor Reload's config. On Fabric, type /customcursor in chat.
3. Point the mod at your PNG file name in the config, then save.
The cursor updates immediately in most cases. If it does not, reload resources with F3+T or restart the client. If your image does not appear, double-check the file path and that the PNG is not corrupted.
