Create a Custom Role Script

Access the Script Builder

Open your Grimoire as the Storyteller and locate the script builder menu. This interface lets you assemble custom role lists directly inside Minecraft without leaving the game.

Build Your Setup

1. Select roles from the available pool—the mod supports standard roles, custom homebrew characters, Fabled, Loric, Travelers, and exiles

2. Add roles one by one to your script, arranging them in your preferred order

3. Review role descriptions and jinx warnings as you build to ensure your setup is balanced

4. Save your custom script with a memorable name

Use Your Script

Once saved, your custom script appears in the role selection menu during game setup. You can reuse it for multiple games or modify it before the next session. The script builder also displays night order information, so you'll know the exact sequence roles will activate during night phases before the game begins.
