Troubleshooting Missing or Distorted Cubic Sun and Moon

Common Issues

If the sun and moon appear flat, invisible, or incorrectly rendered, the resource pack may not have loaded properly or conflicts with another mod or pack.

Verification Steps

First, confirm Cubic Stars is enabled in your resource packs menu. Open the resource pack screen and check that it appears in the "Selected" list on the right side. If it's in the "Available" list, click it to move it to the active side.

Restart your game completely after enabling the pack. Sometimes changes don't take effect until you close and reopen Minecraft.

Checking for Conflicts

Disable all other resource packs temporarily, then launch the game. If the sun and moon now appear correctly, another pack was conflicting. Re-enable packs one at a time to identify which one causes the problem.

If you're using shader mods or other visual modifications, they may interfere with celestial rendering. Try disabling shaders to test whether they're the cause.

File Integrity

Ensure your Cubic Stars pack files are intact and uncorrupted. If problems persist, try reinstalling the resource pack. Verify you're using a version compatible with your current Minecraft version.
