Set Up Chat Display Mode for Your Stream

Choosing Between World and HUD Modes

The mod offers two ways to view chat: floating 3D cards in your game world, or a compact corner display. World mode immerses chat into your surroundings—great for roleplay or cinematic streams. HUD mode anchors chat to your screen corner and remains visible even when you open your inventory, crafting menu, or chests.

Configuring Your Preferred Mode

Access the mod's configuration menu (usually via a keybind or mod menu). Select your display mode based on your playstyle:

  • Choose HUD mode if you want uninterrupted chat visibility while managing inventory or building
  • Choose world mode if you prefer immersion and don't mind chat disappearing when menus open

You can also adjust the chat window's position, scale, and transparency to suit your stream layout. If using world mode, test how far chat cards appear from your character—you may want them closer or farther depending on your camera angle.

Switch modes anytime without restarting the game. Experiment during a test stream to find what works best for your content and viewer experience.
