Trade Crops with Villagers for Emeralds

Find Village Farmers

Locate a village and identify farmers—they wear brown robes and work near farmland. Wandering traders also appear randomly in your world carrying Cropville seeds and accepting produce.

Prepare Trade Goods

Harvest fresh produce from your farm. Farmers typically accept:

• Common vegetables (tomatoes, lettuce, carrots, onions)
• Grains (rice, barley, oats)
• Berries and fruits
• Specialty crops like chickpeas and sesame

Gather stacks of produce to maximize trading efficiency.

Execute Trades

Right-click a farmer to open their trade interface. Select the produce you wish to trade and confirm the transaction. Farmers offer emeralds in exchange. Each trade restocks after a delay, allowing repeated transactions.

Unlock Rare Seeds

Some farmers and wandering traders offer exclusive seeds in exchange for emeralds or rare produce. Trading regularly unlocks access to specialty crops like avocado, turmeric, and hops that are harder to find in loot.
