Setting Up Your Farm to Work Best with Crop Indicators
Organizing Your Farm Layout
To maximize the benefits of Crops Plus, arrange your crops in clear, organized rows. This makes the colored rectangles easy to spot and scan from a distance. Avoid planting crops in scattered patterns, as this makes it harder to track which indicators belong to which plants.
Positioning for Visibility
Plant crops on relatively flat terrain so the floating rectangles above them are clearly visible. Avoid planting on slopes or under overhanging blocks, as these can obscure the color indicators. Leave some vertical space above your crops—the rectangles need room to display properly.
Monitoring from a Distance
Once your farm is organized, you can stand at the edge or even on a hill overlooking it and identify which crops are ready to harvest just by looking at the colors. This saves time compared to walking through the entire farm to inspect each plant individually. Group the same crop type together for even faster harvesting cycles.
